Matt Porter brings a proven track record and deep market expertise to his role as an investment broker at Superior Capital Advisors, covering Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, Alabama and Louisiana, where he leverages the firm’s systematic, results-driven approach to deliver exceptional outcomes for his clients. With more than five years of focused experience in the self-storage sector, Matt has successfully brokered 42 transactions totaling over 1.2 million net rentable square feet, providing tailored advisory services to owner-operators and investors across the Southeast.
 
Matt began his real estate career as an intern with Randall Commercial Group in Oxford, Mississippi, before expanding his experience in Memphis with the largest single-family rental operator in the Southern U.S. There, he managed investment valuations and oversaw property renovations, helping to optimize portfolio performance. In 2019, he joined Marcus and Millichap, where he refined his specialization in the acquisition, disposition, and financing of self-storage assets.
 
A graduate of the University of Mississippi, Matt holds degrees in Banking and Finance, Managerial Finance, and Real Estate. Originally from Madison, Mississippi, he maintains a strong presence in Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Alabama—markets where his insight and local expertise drive strategic value for his clients.
 
When he’s not advising clients, Matt is an avid golfer who enjoys spending time on the course.
